Question : I am 43 years old and have a 10 month old son. Recently my son started having lice in his hair and from him my scalp and hair is also infested with lice.I use mediker shampoo for past two-three days but still there seem to be lots of lice in my hair causing lot of itching.Please suggest a method to get rid of hair lice and also for my 10 month old son.

i am dr.kakkar(dermatologist). I have gone through your query and i have noted your concern

For head lice, both of you may use Ivrea shampoo (contains ivermectin). Lather it on to wet scalp and leave it on for 10 minutes before rinsing it off.
