Brief Answer:
Identification of cause is importnt

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXXXX
The fact remains that there are many causes of hair loss.
One needs to identify the exact cause for an effective remedy.
Just applying hair oils as per everyone's suggestion is like shooting blindly to pluck a XXXXXXX

Some of the common reasons are those that you cannot help-
air pollution
water pollution
hardness of water
male pattern baldness

The other options and treatable possibilities are -
infections like skin infections
lice and dandruff
iron and mineral deficiency

You usually dont need any particular type of shampoo unless there is an infection.
It should be mild, and preferably used with soft water.

In view of male pattern baldness, minoxidil can be used. It shows effect in 2-3 months.

well I do not have any deficiency. No lice or dandruff and no other skin infection as I know of.

I have recently changed my location hence hard water or air pollution can be one of the causes.

So kindly suggest something for a reason which I cannot help.

Brief Answer:
Options

Detailed Answer:
As you would know for sure, noone can do a thing about air pollution or hard water. they are two factors that we cannot control.

The option will be to use a mild kind of conditioner instead of shampoo. These are like shampoo but much gentler than the shampoo. This will take care of the air pollution. A wash of hair in the evening after return may help. Make sure the hair is washed in flowing water. The air pollutants have many acidic components that can damage the hair when in contact with water.

As for the hard water, the option is none. If you can arrange soft water for hair wash it would be the only option to really take care of the problem. If not, you may continue with the conditioner again.

One possible cause that you have to consider is male pattern baldness. There is no particular age when this starts.
You can use a minoxidil solution. This comes in many strengths and brands. You can start with about 2% solution. The dose is 1 ml twice daily. This gradually affects the hair roots by increasing blood circulation to them. The solution should be applied to dry hair.
It takes about 3 months to start showing effect. The side effect profile is relatively safe with you make sure it is not accidentally ingested.
