Brief Answer:
Remove the stinger first

Detailed Answer:
Hi there,
Thanks for using HCM.

The following has to be done to treat red wasp sting.
- Remove the stinger first. You can use a tweezer or jut remove it with your finger nails. Do it as soon as possible as it is the stinger that releases the venom causing pain and itching.

- After removing the stinger, wash the area with soap and water

- If that area is swollen use cold compress

- Mix 3 spoons of baking soda with one spoon of water and apply the paste over that area

If you have breathing problem or if your tongue gets swollen report to ER immediately.

I hope that answers your query.
Let me know if you have any more questions.

Regards,
Dr.Barani
