Question: Please suggest some home remedies for a child below 2 yrs when she is suffering from throat and chest congestion.(apart from giving warm water). This is besides medicines prescribed by the doctor, just for some soothing feeling.

1. Milk with pepper powder and sugar.
2. Warm water in the morning and evening with lemon drops and honey.
3. Milk with turmeric powder and added honey for taste.
