Question : My wife[40yrs] is having cold with sore throat/no running nose since morning, please urgently advice the correct line of treatment along with the precautions and food/fruits that can be avoided.

i am suggesting some homeopathic medicine and you may start as prescribed
1 dulcamara 30 6 pills three times in a day
2 sanguneria can 30 6 pills three times in a day
Medicine helps to give relief from congestion and infection of mucose membrane.
The cough will come out within 2 days.
Take medicine for 5 to 7 days and she will be alright.

Avoid cold thing and direct exposure with changing weather.
Wear winter clothings to keep body warm.

You may take natrum mur 30 In place of sanguneria can 30.

But i would suggest you to take dulcamra 30 this medicine is indicated in cough and coryza in winter season.
