Question : What diet should be followed by a patient who underwent a cataract surgery?
From the doctor who treated told that no specific diet is required, but I am keen to know what should be done in order to prevent the same issue in future.

Diet has no role in the formation of cataract. Although a diet rich in vitamins and antioxidants is good for the health of the eye. Green leafy vegetables and salads should be consumed on a daily basis.
Foods which contain the antioxidants lutein and xeaxanthin are good for the health of retinal cells XXXXXXX pappaya and tomatoes are good examples.
