Question : Hello Doctor! my TSH level is 12.42. What is the dosage of Thyronom should I take? I am 30 years old, female, single.

Your TSH is high. Please check your T4 before starting on thyronorm. The usual starting dose is 50 mcg for this TSH at your age. You can start the medications after consulting a physician and recheck the TSH after 6 weeks.

I hope the value is of free T4. This is on the lower side of normal.

You can take thyroxine tablets in morning empty stomach. You can have breakfast 1 hour after the medicine.
