Question : Hi I have a 5 month old baby and I have given enterogermina oral tube twice daily due to increase in loose stool I have given one full tube in one shot in the morning and another one full tube in one shot in the night is it a right dose or high dose

Majority of loose motion in children are self limiting and viral in origin. No probiotics are required especially in breast feed baby. As you have already started with probiotic, there is definitely no harm. the dosage is appropriate.

Consult Physician when you notice following red signs
1. Dry oral mucosa which implies dehdration
2. Absence of tears while crying
3. Blood/mucous in stools
4. Irritability
5. Decreased movements and excessive sleepiness
