Question : I lifted a piece of furniture and heard my right forearm crack. It feels a bit swollen. Did I fracture it?

Normally bones of forearm can fracture, when ever there is good amount of pressure or force applied to it by some way.

It is unusual to fracture a forearm bone just by lifting weight.

Still, as a you heard a sound and you have swelling,one has to look for a possibility of fracture.

Common Signs of fracture:
Increasing swelling
Increasing pain
painful and restricted movement.

Please visit your doctor and get an x ray done if you have any of above mentioned symptoms.
