A cloth mask alone cannot prevent infection...

Hi,

A cloth mask is not technically designed to prevent the entry of viruses. So it is a must to follow all safety protocols such as maintaining a safe distance from others, avoiding touching nose and face while in public, washing hand / using hand sanitizers as well as staying indoors unless it is a must to travel out.

If your job involves being constantly exposed to people both sick and normal, I would suggest the use of a double surgical mask or the acclaimed N95 mask. And even these alone are not a complete barrier. You will be sufficiently protected only if all other preventive measures are followed.
