Question : I have extreme pms and after researching for a couple of years, i think i have pmdd. How do i find out? Not sure if i should see md or psychiatrist

For that consultation by a gynecologist and hormonal screen and pelvic ultrasound might be needed. Unless any such abnormality is not noted, such diagnosis shouldnt be concluded as final diagnosis . Meanwhile all the suggestions regarding your emotional disturbances that we have discussed in earlier threads and psychologists sessions should be started. Following all those suggestions will be of help as a whole not specifically for the other issue.
