It is a common occurrence to have backache after spinal anesthesia. Mostly it resolves within a week but sometimes, it may last for a long time. Mostly one can find relief with hot fomentation and pain killers like Ibuprofen if needed. Posture needs to be kept erect and avoid lifting heavy weights.
However other causes of back pain should be ruled out. These causes could be disc problem, muscle sprain, etc. Do you have any other symptoms?
