Suggest Medication For A Proctalgia Fugax

no specific relaxants for anus cramps
Detailed Answer:
Hello, Welcome to HCM,
The rectal sphincter is the muscle around the anus. There are no muscle relaxants that are specific for this area. It is unusual to have spasms in that area unless there is something unusual going on in the colon or rectal tissues.
However, if you got botox injections there that should work for you. If it has not then I would suggest that you have a colonoscopy to make sure that you do not have a colitis or other condition that may be causing the spasms.
You could try dietary changes or adding a multivitamin daily.
Soaks in warm water may also help relieve the cramping. Make sure you are getting well hydrated (lots of water and no caffeine or alcohol) because being somewhat dehydrated can also cause spasms.
Regards,
