                                    Brief Answer:
tab.Mefenemic acid during menses
Detailed Answer:
Hi there,
Welcome to HCM,
Pain during menses can be very disturbing, and some women have pain in abdomen, back, lower abdomen upto upper thighs. Tab. Mefenemic acid 500 mg three times a day is very effective for menstrual pain and cramps and back pain during menses.
It is non hormonal and used very commonly. It also decreases the amount of menstrual flow by up to 40%.
If it is not helpful then you could try other NSAIDS, like Ibuprofen.
Hope this helps.
Regards

                                    Brief Answer:
Mefenemic acid is appropriate.
Detailed Answer:
Yes tab.Mefenemic acid will still be the best option, as flow decrease is seen is upto 40%,so probably it may not be much for you. But mefenemic acid is the most approved and time-tested medicine for pain during menses.
Hope this helps.
Regards.
