Question : Hi,
I'm taking protonix and nulev for IBS and gastritis, but, I have been experiencing body ache, low grade fever congestion and cough and I would like to take something that will not have serious side effects. I'm also taking prozac and buspirone. I also have fibromyalgia and was wondering if I can take flexeril for my muscle/body aches.

Hi,

I will go with tylenol pm as aleve and advil can both cause stomach ulcers, what protonix is being used to prevent/treat. Your symptoms are suggestive of a possible viral infection of the upper respiratory tract infection. Caused by viruses and no antibiotics are necessary. Regular exercise, healthy diet, increased fluids and fruits and a positive mind frame are all advised.
