Question : My mother (67yrs old) is suffering from swollen feet for close to a year. Pics are attached for your reference. She is feeling in pain while walking. She is not applying any gel/ointments. But since few months she is consuming the attached medicine. Could you prescribe any medicines/gel/oil for her to use for the same?

I presume that she is suffering from osteoarthritis related to her age.

I suggest she can do hot fomentation with water, apply gel-like diclofenac gel gently without rubbing much.

she can also use ayurvedic pain oils for massage.

apart from that natural medications like curcumin (haldi) extract can be used for pain.

1. Hot fomentation with water
