Detailed Answer:
Hello!

Welcome and thank you for asking on HCM!

I would explain that bradycardia can be related to different causes:

- a cardiac disorder
- blood electrolyte imbalances
- an over activation of the vagal nerve, like in autonomic dysfunction.
- drugs like betablockers, etc..

I would recommend performing some tests to investigate for the possible cause of your symptoms:

- a chest X ray study
- respiratory function tests to investigate your lungs function
- blood electrolytes, inflammation tests (PCR, sedimentation rate)
- a cardiac ultrasound to examine your cardiac function
- an ambulatory 24-48 hours ECG monitoring to examine your heart rhythm trends during the day

I would like to review your performed tests in the ER if you can upload them for a another professional opinion.

You should discuss with your doctor on the above tests.

Unfortunately there are no OTC drugs for bradycardia.

Hope you will find this answer helpful!

Best wishes,

Dr. Iliri
