Question : My uncle had AVR by TAVI procedure 13 days back. Just now we found that he has fever of 102°F. What can be given to him to bring down the fever?

Antibiotics and Antipyretics are required

Detailed Answer:
Hello Sir.

I can certainly understand your concern.

It's important to start antibiotics along with antipyretics.

I generally prescribe oral pills of Augmentin 625 mg (Co-Amoxyclav) and Dolo 650 mg one pill each twice daily for 3 to 5 days .

Please check with your physician if he shares my view and if can prescribe these pills to you.
