Brief Answer:
Hypotension. Lower or change the drugs. Monitor her BP from time to time.

Detailed Answer:
Hi!

It is very common for people with high BP issues to take medications that lower the BP. However, the fact that your mother has a tendency to fall over, when walking is indicative that her medicines are causing this effect. They lower the BP too greatly and thus, when her brain does not get it's compliment of blood, she has a tendency to fall. This is true for any person taking such medications.

So, I suggest that her drugs be titrated. This means that they must be lowered exactly to the dosage as required to stabilize her BP. The ideal target is 130/90 mm HG.

I suggest that you purchase an electronic BP instrument for which no medical knowledge is required to scan her BP regularly.

I strongly suggest either changing the medicines or correcting their dose.

Given these facts, you must see an Internal Medicine specialist.

This is the solution to her problem.

Furthermore Restoril is not responsible for these issues. She can continue to take it.

Feel free to ask any doubts. I am there to help.
