Hello

Thanks for writing to us

The most common cause of loose stool(not associated with blood or mucus) in this age is due to some viral infection. The main aim of management is to prevent dehydration by giving plenty of fluids.
I would suggest you to give ORS/fluids,Zinc syrup(20 mg/5 ml) 5 ml once a day along with probiotic like bifilac or enterogermina twice a day.
Avoid milk and fruit juice.Give easily digestible food like rice, curd, khichdi, banana etc.
Watch for urinary frequency, poor oral acceptance, vomiting, lethargy or irritability. If you notice any abnormality consult your pediatrician. It may take 4-6 days for the stool to get back to its normal pattern.I won't get worried for frequency of stool if the hydration is adequate.

Wishing for your child's speedy recovery.
Please let me know if you have any more doubts.
Regards
