Brief Answer:
Need to find cause

Detailed Answer:
Hi Dear user!
Thank you for posting your questions here.

The blood cells has to be below 4500 /mm3 to say that you have lack of leukocytes.
As I understand you have only low WBC, right? Kindly upload report so that I can help you better.
The drug that the doctor has prescribes is for iron deficency that cause anemia (if your haemoglobin and RBC are in normal ranges you don't need this drug)

Before we start a treatment about low WBC, we need to find out the cause of it. Here are some causes:
-Any Viral or Bacterial infection, Lyme, etc.
Autoimmune disease, leukaemia etc...or any medication that you have been using.

The treatment consists of treating the cause and medication that stimulate your bone marrow (vitamins, steroids, cytokines).
Rest and healthy sleep will help to increase your WBC.
The medication to treat low WBC need to be prescribed by your treating doctor. I suggest to go to a hematologist (if the doctor that gave this was not a hematologist) to discuss about the cause and proper treatment, only he can prescribe your medications.

Hope I was helpful.
If you have any other questions , I will be happy to help .
Take Care.

Hi Dr. Balliu,

Thank you so much for your respond

I have bacterial infection in my throat. It comes many times, and when I asked my Dr he told me that because I have lack of leukocytes without making any laboratory analyzes. Yes, I suffer from anemia and for that gave me that drug.

Is there any medicine to treat lack of leukocytes and Bacterial infection?

Thank you again

Thank you for follow up.

Detailed Answer:
Hi again.!
I read the information that you gave carefully and I think that you should do some laboratory analyses to find out the main cause .
Lack of leukocytes and anemia need further evaluations.
You can take the drug that your doctor have given to you .

Yes there are a lot of antibiotics that treat bacterial infection. According to which bacteria that causes throat infection ,we start the right antibiotic to fight it.
In this case of recurrent infection I suggest to take a swab of your throat to find out which is the bacteria. Streproccocus is a common cause of throat infection but this don't rule out other causes.

Your immune system like your doctor said ,it's low that may be a reason why your throat infection don't go away.
You need to fight also the main disease that damage your immune system.
Yes there are the medications to treat lack of leukocytes but as I wrote deepens of the cause .

Without any further examinations ( vitamins levels , blood test, bone marrow examinations) that should be done by a hematologist, can't say nothing more .He /She will help you to find out what's going on with your body and to start the proper treatment that needs prescription .

Hope these help you!
