Brief Answer:
No need to worry

Detailed Answer:
Hi
I understand your concerns but don't worry. The first line drugs recommended for this age for motion sickness are dimenhydrinate (Dramamine), 1–1.5 mg/kg per dose, or diphenhydramine (Benadryl), 0.5–1 mg/kg per dose up to 25 mg, can be given 1 hour before travel and every 6 hours during the trip. Avoid overdoses.

I am not in favour of phenergan for this age as it can lead to excess sedation and lethargy.

Non pharmacological measures like maintaining hydration by drinking water, eating small meals frequently, and limiting alcoholic and caffeinated beverages will help.

Adding distractions—listening to music or using aromatherapy scents such as mint or lavender are also useful.

Hopefully it will be of help. Have a wonderful trip.

Take care

Brief Answer:
Benadryl or Dramamine junior liquid

Detailed Answer:
Hi
You may purchase Syp. Benadryl or Dramamine junior liquid. As these drugs can lead to drowsiness, avoid next one dose if child seems excess sleepy.
