Question : Is there a medication to treat the dry persistent cough as a result of taking cilzapril.

Dry cough is a side effects of using cilazapril and it can't be treated with any medication. The only recommendation in your case is to switch from cilazapril to an ARB (diovan). However, since diovan is a medication you should discuss with your doctor.
