Question : my son has broken out in a rash that appears like foot and mouth disease he may have contracted from his 1 year old son, whom he took care of this week. My son has red small vesicles on his toes and both feet, and on his hands. He lives in XXXXXXX XXXXXXX

Hi,

I am not sure if you can upload a pic of the rash. that helps a lot.
Besides HFM disease caused by virus and is not at all serious. Simple rest and lot of fluids would help quickly go away. Apply calamine lotion over rash it's soothing.
It is noted that caregivers get HFM virus if not immune to it earlier.
