Brief Answer:
You should consult your treating physician.

Detailed Answer:
Hello ma'am,

Thanks for trusting hcm about your health care.
I can understand your concerns.
Ovestin containing estrogen in low doses and can be used in postmenopausal women as a hormonal replacement therapy.
As you have already used two tubes and your symptoms get resolved, in my opinion you should stopped it.
As such there is no long term side effects of this cream but it is usually use for a short term treatment.
Because it is a prescription drug, you should consult your treating physician for the same.
Most probably symptoms will not reoccur, if it happens again you have to use estrogen cream for the same, because it is due to estrogen deficiency.
Hope it is useful, feel free to ask more questions.
Good luck
