Suggest Medication For Severe Anxiety And Depression

Consultation
Detailed Answer:
Hello, and thanks for your question.
If you labs tests are negative, this means you probably have depression and, I'm guessing from the Klonopin, issues with anxiety as well. The standard treatment for depression and anxiety both is a combination of medication and therapy. There are nearly two dozen antidepressant medications, so I'd need to know what you have taken. Have you taken an MAOi such as Nardil or Parnate? TCAs such as amitriptyline or nortriptyline? Atypicals such as Remeron and Wellbutrin? Have you tried ECT (shock therapy)? If you provide a medication history I can make a suggestion. For therapy, have you tried CBT or DBT therapies? Dynamic therapy? Let me know at my private link:

Detailed Answer:
If you feel bad enough, you should certainly visit the ER. However, anxiety is usually not considered an emergency. A psychiatric emergency is when someone feels suicidal, homicidal, or unable to safely take care of themselves at home. The short-term treatment for anxiety is benzodiazepines such as Ativan, but the long-term treatment is an antidepressant plus therapy as I discussed. Please give me a medication history and we can discuss your medication options further at my private link:
