Question : hi can you suggest a good medicine for sour throat..there is a cough buildup which is not coming out.. had cold from the past four days which is gone now.

As per your symptoms, you possibly seem to have Acute Bronchitis .This needs a chest xray for further evaluation.

I generally recommend my patients with oral pills of antibiotics like Augmentin and Zedex syrup for 3 to 5 days for effective improvement.

Please check with your physician if he shares my point of view and if can prescribe these medications to you.
