Detailed Answer:
hello and thank you for sending the question.
I have reviewed your medications and your current symptoms. There is an excellent over the counter medication which might help decrease some of your nasal secretions and improve your sore throat. This medication comes in a couple of different brands. The brand names are Flonase or Nasonex. Generally a pharmacy will have a generic equivalent as well.
these are actually nasal spray's. You would want to do one or two sprays in each nostril twice daily. These medications having very low concentration of topical steroid which helped to decrease inflammation in the nasal and sinus passage ways which will help decrease the secretions as well.
I would recommend that you go to your local pharmacy and discuss this with the pharmacist to pick out the most cost-effective choice. Hopefully this will work very well for you and you'll start to feel better soon.
Thank you again for sending your question.
Sincerely,
Dr. Galamaga
