Question : Hi my father is a heart patient. his functioning/pumping of heart is just 15%. he is 72 years old and on medication for blood thinning and arthritis. his stomach is upset. what medicine should we give him. Kindly advise. Thanks. XXXX

Thanks for the additional information.
Get a stool analysis done to know whether it is due to infection.

Give him enough fluids to keep him well hydrated. A moist tongue and adequate urine output are indicators or good hydration.
Give him rice based diet and include yogurt in it.

He may get benefitted with the following medications -
1. T. Ciprofloxacin 500 mg 1-0-1
2. T.Metronidazole 400 m 1-1-1
3. C.Sporlac 1-0-0

Get medical attention -
1. If he has persistent vomiting
2. If his urine output is very low
3. If he is drowsy
