Question : Hi my fasting blood sugar is 180 and post prandial is 224. Diagnosed with type II diabetes 1 year ago. Managed well with exercise and diet control till 3 months ago. Now not able to manage. Which medicine shall I take.

The first choice of medicine is always Metformin. But before starting it you need to get a test called serum creatinine , as creatinine has to be normal before starting Metformin.
