Question : I have a sudden vertigo event this AM. What is the best OTC med for vertigo?

Hello,
I have gone through your question and understand your concern.
Vertigo at this age can be due to benign paroxysmal positional vertigo, vestibular neuronitis or posterior circulation stroke.
Is the vertigo episodic or continuous?
Any associated hearing loss, ear discharge, vomiting, gait ataxia, speech changes, headache, dysphagia?
You can take betahistine or cinnarizine for symptomatic relief.

I have infrequent.episodes of vertigo, less than once every six months. This was somewhat more severe than most. I performed a sinus wash two hours ago. That seems to have relieved the symptoms a bit.
