hi
thanks for replying.
he is almost 15 kgs.
his paternal grand father is allergic to dust.
no he had no fever.
he did not talk but was crying
yes nebulisation improved his condition.
we met his doctor yesterday, she asked us to get an eco and a chest x ray done, both were normal. now the peadiateriction assumes that this might be a case of allergy to pollution because this happened on the night of diwali.
kindly tell me how founded the doctor's assumption seems to you. also let me know if any other precaution needs to be taken.
deep regards

Brief Answer:
Looks like seasonal allergy
Detailed Answer:
Hi....I feel that kid is having a seasonal allergy. I concur with your pediatrician.
The points in support of seasonal allergy are family history of some sort of allergy and the season which is going on now.
More over the smoke this Diwali period could have exaggerated condition.
Other important clue is that kid has improved after nebulisation.
If I were your pediatrician I would suggest not nebulisation but a metered dose inhaler like Levolin along with oral montelukast for A period of 2 weeks at least.
I think by this time the season and climate might improve making the kid more comfortable.

Looks good except that I would prefer an inhaler than nebulization
Detailed Answer:
Hi...this looks good, except that I would prefer an inhaler than nebulization.
I would also suggest using oral Monteleukast for a period of 2 weeks 4mg per day in the evening.
