Brief answer....given below
Detailed answer...
Hello,
Thanks for the query.
I have read your query and  understand your concerns very well.
Gammagard is basically a preparation of highly purified and concentrated immunoglobulin G ( IgG) manufactured from human blood and is given to treat primary immune deficiencies in the person.Since the immunity of a person is dependent on IgG immunoglobulins, one has to be given only IgG immunoglobulin. There  is no substitute to it and hence there is no substitute to this injection.
Since you are being given this injection for past 5 years,it means that there is no serious reaction to it,although you do face plenty of side effects of the injection.
Very frankly speaking, you have to manage with the same medicine because all the substitutes are basically same IgG.Both GAMMAGARD and OCTAGAM are same.
I know the answer would be dampener to your expectation but the fact and truth remains that there is no substitute to gammagard injection.
I hope it helps, however you may revert o me for any further query.
Best if luck
Thanks
