Question : Is there a non-prescription medication that will relieve pain in feet from neuropathy?
Brief Answer:
There are a couple ways one could go
Detailed Answer:
There are numbing medicines like lidocaine. There is also medicines that paradoxically overstimulate nerves to damp down the pain feeling. XXXXXXX XXXXXXX and capsaicin are examples of this and are not prescription.
Getting diabetes under better control. Perhaps exercise, perhaps acupuncture are some other possibilities. But they and "vitamins" have little evidence to recommend them.
On the other hand there are a lot of medicines that are prescription but quite safe for nerve pain. Basically all epileptic medicines fall into this category.
