Hello
Thanks for writing to us with your health concern.
Do you always have regular periods ?
Once in a while, a period maybe delayed due to mild stress or hormonal imbalance.
you should wait a few days before taking any medication.
I can suggest the tablets, but you need it from prescription by your doctor and after consulting your doctor.
Generally tablets containing progesterone ( Meprate, Deviry ) are taken for 5 days, and then stopped.
once you stop, you get your period within a week.
Dosage is decided by body weight.
I hope this helps you.
All the best

Yes, So even I have told you to wait for a week and then only consider taking tablets.
The medication name I have already told you.
Please tell me your body weight so that I can suggest a dosage.
And yes, what I tell you here is not valid as a prescription, you still have to get one from your doctor.
Take care.

Detailed Answer:
Generally Meprate 10 mg three times a day is taken for 5 days, and then stopped.
You then bleed within a week of stopping the last tablet.
It is not at all recommended to take this medication without consulting your doctor first.
These are hormonal pills, and not to be taken without prescription, as I said.
Please remember that.
