Brief Answer:
Use with cautious.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for writing to us.

Since you have history of asthma you should be cautious while taking medroxy progesterone. Dosage and frequency of medication will be decided by your gynecologist. You need to carry all your asthma related medication along with you. Do call doctor or visit near by hospital if you feel uncomfortable after taking this medication.

After starting periods medication may or may not stop the bleeding. But it can reduce the amount of bleeding.

Hope I have answered your query. If you have any queries I will be happy to help you.

Thank you
