Brief Answer: Eczematous dermatitis Detailed Answer: Hello and welcome to healthcaremagic I am Dr. Kakkar. I have gone through your concern and I have understood it. Thanks for the picture. I could see dry, scaly/crusted plaques on the dorsal aspect of you toes. I guess they must be itchy too!! I would keep a possibility of eczematous dermatitis. People who have dry skin(xerosis)/atopic individuals are prone to develop eczematous dermatitic plaques, discoid dermatitis at various body sites. You could use a moisturizing cream twice daily over this area twice or thrice daily. If I was the treating doctor I would have suggested you to use a topical potent steroid+antibiotic combination cream over that patches (e.g clobetasol propionate+Neomycin combination creams OR clobetasol propionate+gentamycin combination cream are available on prescription). You could use this cream twice daily for 2-4 weeks. An OTC antihistamine e.g cetrizine 10mg once daily would help you symptomatically with the itch regards
