Question : Hello I am thinking of starting taking Cialis, How long prior to having sex do I take the tablet and what dose is recommended. I do not need to take it daily only as needed. I am a white male 68 years.

10 mg per oral standard dose.

Hi Sir,
I have carefully read your query and understand your concern.

Cialis can be taken as 10 mg PO 30 min before sexual activity with or without food.
The dose can be increased to either 20 mg or decreased to 5 mg on the basis of efficacy and tolerability.

Once a day dosing is usually sufficient.

Yes Sir you are absolutely right,

This is called PRN mode of drug dosage-taken on "as and when needed" basis.
Definitely not on daily basis.
