Question : My husband is severely constipated from taking Naproxen. We read that traditional remedies for constipation do not work. What can we do?

Ispaghula olive oil and warm milk

I appreciate your concern

2 full spoons of Ispaghula husk with 1 glass of milk and 1 tablespoon of olive oil added to it should help relieve the constipation.

If it persists despite the above then prokinetics like itopride or secretory agents like lubiprostone can be advised in consultation with your doctor.
