Brief Answer:
You need alternative options to get off the codone analgesics

Detailed Answer:
Hi! Welcome to HealthcareMagic! Thanks for sharing your concerns with us. We will try to help you in best way possible. First of all, it is sad to know what you had gone through.

Based on the history you have shared, longterm pain management medications usage seems inevitable but it's good that you want to get off those analgesics which lead to dependance or has addictive tendencies.

Other alternatives here would be non steroidal anti inflammatory drugs like ibuprofen or neproxen etc but long term usage of these can have stomach and kidney related side effects but can be good for short term pain management specially in light of history of allergy to tylenol .

Other safer alternatives can be use of other nerve pain suppressants like gaba pentins or duloxetine or carbamezapines and there usage can he discussed with your primary physician.

But for long term management plans, you need to have a detailed neurosurgeon review to look for surgical options to relieve the nerve compressions caused by disc bulges so that the permanent solutions can be sought.

The local nerve blocks is another option which can be discussed by the neurosurgeon.

Also continue using supplements for calcium, Vitamin D3, and ossien mineral complexes or bisphosphonates to slow down age related wear in tear in bones. Wishing you a speedy recovery.

Hope this has answered your query, If you have any more questions, feel free to ask. Regards.

Brief Answer:
Can be due to micronutrients defficiencies

Detailed Answer:
Hi! Thanks for the feedback. Actually the cause of vertebral collapses may also be due to micronutrients defficiencies and age related changes which lead to bone resorption and such changes may also cause muscle pains as well however it's better to get levels of calcium, phosphate and if needed alkaline phosphatase as well as PTH levels later however replacements of Calcium, vitamin D, B12 and folic acid may gradually improve the symptoms as discussed earlier. Regards.
