I suggest you to use a moisturizer, frequently and regularly, over the affected areas.
In addition I suggest you to use a potent topical steroid and salicylic acid based ointment e.g either clobetasol propionate 0.05 % or halobetasol propionate 0.05 % and 3-6%salicylic acid combination based ointment (Clop S or Halovate S ointment), twice daily.
You may also take an oral antihistamine e.g Cetrizine 10mg tab once every evening for symptomatic relief from itching.
These are prescription medications and I advice you to talk to your local practitioner for a prescription of the same.
