Question : My wife is running in 9th month of pregnancy , 9th month will be completed on 17th November. Can you please confirm some expected time when she will be delivered or any signage for the same. Some precautions that we should be taken care.

Hello, if she will complete her 9th month on 17th then her expected date of delivery is on or before 23rd November.
She can get labour pains anytime in coming 2 weeks.
But in case labour pains don't start by then then your gynecologist will start medicines for starting the pains and will eventually result in delivery of the baby.
If the baby stays struck in upper stomach till the time of labour pains then there are high chances if cesarean section definitely.
Our aim is to have a healthy mother and a healthy baby and in case we struck to the point of getting normal delivery then at times it can result in fetal compromise.
To help in normal delivery she should -
- have a light walk daily and do her day to day activities at a normal pace with adequate periods of rest
- drink lots of water and lime juice or fresh juice daily
- eat lots of salads and fruits specially citrus fruits
- take lukewarm water around 2-3 glasses early morning daily.
I hope these measures will help in descent of fetal head into birth canal.
