Question : Hi, I have been diagnosed with primary lymphedema on left lower leg . I need to go on a long distance flight due to family emergency. I'm currently wearing a grade 2 (20-30mg) full garment. My question is, what other precaution should I take? Thank you, XXXXXXX
Brief Answer:
just try to walk in the flight at regular interval
Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXXXX
Welcome to HealthcareMagic.
Though your stockings should suffice, but try to walk in the flight at regular intervals preferably every two hours for few mins. If that will not be possible then try moving your ankle and knee joints while seated, as much as possible, specially before and after a nap.
And avoid any injury to that leg.
