Question : Hi Doctor,

my wife has undergone C section delivery. I wanted suggestions from you on what all precaution s should be taken for faster recovery.

does she has to under go any medical checkups to check if everything is fine inside.

any exercises after c section delivery.

and when can we get personal together again.

First I would like to know when she underwent surgery

My suggestions:
Well hydration: She needs to take plenty of fluids and water.
Avoid lifting heavy objects
Avoid sexual intercourse for 3 months
She should eat healthy food like green leafy vegetables, fruits and protein contains
Personal hygiene is very important to avoid infections especially urinary tract infection
Watch out for flu like symptoms like fever, body pains etc…
If she is having heavy bleeding then call your doctor.
She can walk for 15 minutes daily and slowly

Her surgery done 19th December that means 3 weeks completed.

Do regular follow up with doctor.

Mostly she does not need any blood tests

Watch out for any foul smell vaginal discharge.
