Question : hi i want to know about the recent launch of a anti diabetics herbal drug launched by CSIR LAB which is called BGR-34.so can i add or replace this with the current prescription of my mothers type 2 daibetics medication.

Dear sir, Greetings from HCM. Yes it's a new herbal drug newly launched . Yes you can add under the supervision of your treating doctor . But you cannot replace the current drugs . You get her Fasting plasma glucose, HbA1C, you get the prescription from your doctor and closely monitor the glucose levels too . Along with the lifestyle changes which is the main treatment. Thanks
