Question : On the skin around my right hip, it feels like it is bruised despite having no bruising. It has been relatively mild but persistent for nearly a week. I have tried both lotion and powder (separately), neither helped. Is this a concern?

Brief Answer:
Can be due to joint inflammation or nerve irritation.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for posting your query.
The feeling of bruising of the skin without any visible bruising can be due to a joint inflammation or a mild nerve root irritation at the level of lower back. This can improve with mild anti inflammatory drugs and methylcobalamin supplements. Do consult your physician and get these prescribed after an examination.
I hope this answers your query.
