Brief Answer:
The underlying cause needs to be identified.

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking on HealthcareMagic.

I have gone through your query. I would insist you to upload all the investigations that have been presently done. The jaundice could be due to infective hepatitis or due to many other causes. The cause needs to be identified. If it is infective hepatitis due to Hepatitis A or Hepatitis E, it is likely to subside gradually and spontaneously. However, in other causes interventions might be required.

I will wait for your response. Also mention if you are an alcoholic.

Brief Answer:
Be patient. You will gradually recover.

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for providing the reports. Your HAV IgM is positive indicating that you have contracted Hepatitis A which is a waterborne infection. You need to be patient. Things would be back to normal soon. All you have to do is to rest and take a bland diet.

Brief Answer:
Usually recovery occurs in a month or two.

Detailed Answer:
Usually recovery occurs in a month or two. Please be patient. You may get an ultrasound of upper abdomen done in order to rule out other associated obstructive causes as the conjugated section of bilirubin is more in your case.
