Question: I have a touch of food poisoning with stomach spasims. I am in Thailand now. How can I stop the pain. I have had diarrhea and vomiting but it is getting better. Now the pain. What drugs are recommended, antibiotics are readily available over the counter too

I suggest the following treatment.
1. tab ciprofloxacin 500 mg twice a day.
2. tab metronidazole 400 mg thrice a day
3. plenty of fluids
4. a probiotic as available locally
5. plenty of curds
I will also suggest testing a stool routine test if possible.
