Question : hi Dr XXXXXXX XXX. I have blackheads on my forehead. this is from last three years. what is cure of this?

Use a salicylic acid facewash and adapelene gel

I am Dr Asmeet Kaur Sawhney, a dermatologist.
If I was your treating doctor I would recommend you to use a salicylic acid facewash twice daily and apply adapelene 0.1 percent gel on the blackheads at night.
This is usually continued for 4-6 weeks for disappearance of blackheads.
If you want fast results you can consult a dermatologist and get them extracted by a comedone extractor.
It is minor office procedure which usually takes 15-20 minutes.
Besides this avoid oiling of scalp, keep your face dry and use cosmetics labelled as noncomedogenic.
