Brief Answer:
Investigations and clinical evaluation.

Detailed Answer:
Hi.
Thanks for your query.
To recapitulate: Male/84 - urinated blood at first release in the morning - normal second release - then blood again ...
This is called hematuria and needs investigations to know the reasons particularly at your age:
Urine analysis and culture sensitivity
Routine blood tests, urea, creatinine, PSA (prostate specific antigen)
Ultrasonography of the whole abdomen particularly for genitourinary system
Per-rectal digital examination is one of the most important test and to be aided if possible by per-rectal ultrasound.
Further tests as per the advise of your Urologist.

Hematuria is to be taken seriously unless proved otherwise.
I hope this answer helps you, please feel free to ask for further relevant queries if you feel that there is a gap of communication.
